Looking for a place to have your spouses Ship Support Group Meetings? Look no further...we are here to help! Keep all the spouses informed of the events that will be occurring during the ships deployment while meeting at a child friendly location and no fee charged to the command. Operation Hero
After-School mentoring and tutoring for children ages 6-12 who are experiencing temporary difficulties in school faced by many military youths (parent deployment, moves, etc...), by assisting the child to get back on track socially and academically and finding the 'Hero' inside of them.
The Armed Services YMCA currently has programs for the following schools:
- Camp Allen Elementary School
- Bayside Elementary School
- Sewells Point Elementary School
- Shelton Park Elementary School

Virtual Food Pantry
Designed to assist military families who have experienced unforeseen financial difficulties by providing emergency assistance, support and education.
Procedures for utilizing the Virtual Food Pantry
The following personnel may refer an active duty member/spouse to the Virtual Food Pantry.
- Command CMC or equivalent
- Command Chaplain
- Command Ombudsman
- Navy Marine Corp. Relief Society
- Fleet and Family Support Center
- Division Supervisor
